The high energy consumption and emission of air pollutants to the environment during the asphalt concrete production process, contribute to global warming. This effect leads to the development of warm mix asphalt technology, in which asphalt concrete is produced at a lower temperature without compromising its in-service performance. This has been achieved through the use of organic and inorganic additives. Because of this, this study investigated the suitability of Rediset-WMX as an additive in lowering the mixing temperature in asphalt production. Marshall Design method was adopted for specimen preparation and testing. Fifteen (15) samples were prepared and compacted for strength and volumetric properties assessments at varying bitumen contents .......................
